The beginnings of HETKAMP
ARCHITECTURE
Every successful journey starts with a first step, and mine began in a modest office of just 9 m² in my private home. Without references, but with a lot of courage and determination, I ventured into architecture — in a space that I had to share with a plotter and printer. The living room table served as a meeting room, where I discussed ideas and sketches with potential customers.
Despite limited space, this start became a source of my creativity and problem-solving skills. Each small success laid the foundation for my future. These challenging beginnings, intensive listening to customer requests and translating them into concrete designs strengthened my trust and expanded my network. Today I look back with pride on these humble beginnings, which taught me a lot not only about architecture but also about determination and creativity — values that still drive me today.
THE STORY
OF OUR TEAM
Our architecture office was founded in 2014 by Jörg Hetkamp, who put his passion for architecture and design into practice. With a clear vision of creating a harmonious connection between people, space and nature, he developed innovative solutions for modern construction challenges with a small team. We initially focused on local projects. The headquarters of the IT company Netgo was our first significant project and quickly became a figurehead for our commitment to quality and aesthetics. This positive response motivated us to continue to grow and set new standards. Over the years, we have expanded our portfolio and specialized in residential construction, office properties, public facilities and neighborhood development. We regard every project as a new challenge in which we pursue innovative approaches and creative solutions. For us, good architecture goes beyond functionality; it tells stories and promotes wellbeing. Sustainability is a central part of our work. We use environmentally friendly materials and energy-efficient construction methods, often in close collaboration with interior and landscape architects, to create harmonious living spaces. Our dynamic team of architects, engineers and craftsmen brings diverse perspectives and ideas to develop tailor-made solutions. We are proud of the long-term relationships we have built with our customers and partners and are doing everything we can to ensure their satisfaction. Basic Investigation
In the first phase of the service, we get to know you, your wishes and the general conditions of the project. We develop initial concepts with sketches and a rough cost estimate. Together, we look at different solution options and weigh up the advantages and disadvantages. We are happy to advise you on all the necessary services and specialist planners and suggest suitable colleagues.
Feasibility study
Long before the start of your construction project, we support you in developing the framework conditions and the task and determine the type and scope of your project. With the feasibility analysis, we lay the foundation for a successful project and compare different development options.
Design planning
During the design planning phase, we work out all the design, functional, technical, economic and ecological aspects of your project, taking into account the relevant building regulations, and prepare a detailed cost calculation at the end of this service phase.
Preliminary planning
We develop initial concepts with sketches and a rough cost estimate. Together we compare different solution options and, if necessary, submit a preliminary construction request

We develop initial concepts with sketches and a rough cost estimate. Together, we compare different solution variants and, if necessary, make a preliminary building request.
DESIGN PLANNING
During design planning, we develop all design, functional, technical, as well as economic and ecological aspects of your project, taking into account relevant aspects of building law, and prepare a detailed cost calculation at the end of this service phase.
APPROVAL PLANNING
With a sophisticated LP 3, we will clarify all relevant requirements for you with the competent authorities, prepare the necessary documents for the building application and finally submit it for approval.
IMPLEMENTATION PLANNING
Implementation planning includes thorough planning of the design and the preparation of details according to your wishes. We coordinate and integrate the planning of our participating specialist planners and form the basis for the following work phases.
PREPARATION FOR THE AWARD
To prepare for the award, we develop tailor-made service descriptions for your project. These are made available to selected specialist companies in order to be able to create suitable offers for your project.
PARTICIPATION IN AWARDING
In order to be able to make an informed decision for the right contractors, we are happy to share our experience with local companies, prepare price lists and negotiate with the individual companies.
OBJECT MONITORING
We are now on site for you. We control the execution, ensure quality, solve problems, pay attention to the schedule and organize official approvals. We support you from the start of construction to the handover of the building and are committed to the optimal construction of your property.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT AND DOCUMENTATION
After completion of your construction project, we will continue to assist you upon request and, for example, draw up inventory plans or continue to provide you with expert advice if deficiencies occur.
