A modern office and bank branch in Netgo Basecamp

As part of the new building for Netgo's headquarters, the “Basecamp”, our office was commissioned to plan a Sparkasse branch at the other end of the Netgo property.

Since our space in the city center of Borken was slowly proving to be too small, we were able to design an office space for our own office in parallel with the planning of the bench on the upper floor. (However, as our office continued to grow, after just 2 years we completed the Think tank in the countryside moved to our current premises.)

The design of the building is adapted to the two-storey part of the Netgo headquarters. The façade structure copies the details of the big brother. Since the size of the building clearly fades into the background, the distinctive black façade panel, which is found in the three-story area of the neighboring base camp, was deliberately used here.

In combination with the spacious post-and-frame construction and the eye-catching red entrance porch, the building appears self-confident in relation to its neighborhood. The clear design language of the cubic body does not make use of the ascending geometry of the main building, but rather withdraws itself without trying to hide.

For Sparkasse, the modern building stands for transparent dealings with customers. On a total of 275 square meters, the Hovesath Counseling Center will be enough space for personal discussions. As soon as you enter, the open and modern design of the consultation center with a total of six consultation rooms is obvious.

The office on the upper floor offers a mix of open-plan office and individual cell. The space is characterized by the central meeting room, which is not only used for customer meetings, but also for team meetings, joint breakfast or training.

The open kitchenette offers the opportunity for informal communication, detached from the workplace.
